As the founder and director of Vitality Breath, Lauren Chelec Cafritz brings enormous passion to her integrative approach to breathwork — and more than two decades of studying, practicing, teaching, and sharing her belief in the power of breath to transform lives.

Her journey began as a sufferer of intense anxiety and chronic cervical pain. Exploring ways to relieve her pain without a surgical procedure, she found breathwork. After a few sessions, her pain lifted, her anxiety faded, and she experienced a sense of renewed vitality and spiritual connection. Finding a way to share the practice of breathwork with others became her mission.

Lauren brings a wealth of experience and a gentle approach to healing and transformation. Her warmth, compassion, and joy inspire her students to dig deep and dream big. She guides them to connect with their breath and achieve their highest potential. Wanting to offer breathwork to a wider audience, she published Breath LOVE, an engaging and inspiring guide to empowering people to see that anything is possible when they connect to their breath.

Lauren facilitates breathwork retreats, conferences, and workshops across the world and leads breathwork sessions for executive teams, nonprofits, government agencies, corporations, hospitals, and schools. She also teaches online group classes and conducts virtual one-on-one coaching.  Lauren provides certifications to breathworkers through her Vitality Breath School, which includes a multi-year training program.

A leader in the global breathwork community, Lauren serves as the United States National Representative and is a member of the Executive Support Team for the International Breathwork Foundation. She is also a certified practitioner with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. She is certified and has studied a number of breathing modalities and is certified in Reiki, Yoga and Ayurveda.
